Privacy Policy
Data we collect
CineLoupe does not collect or transmit any personal data, usage data or identifiers. The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.
Information used on your device
- Camera and LiDAR — the viewfinder, depth-of-field simulation and recording of stills and video.
- Location and heading — take metadata (where and which way the camera pointed) and sun-position calculation. Location is stored only in the take data on your device and in the PDFs / images you export.
- Photo library — add-only, and only when you enable “Also copy to Photos”. The app never reads your library.
- Motion — device orientation for the AR sun overlay.
All of this is processed on the device, within the permissions you grant in iOS.
Sending data to external services
Only if you enable auto upload to Google Drive or Dropbox in Settings, your takes (images, video, metadata JSON, PDF) are sent to your own account. Authentication uses each service's OAuth 2.0 (PKCE); your password never passes through the app. Access tokens are stored in the device keychain and deleted when you sign out. KOTETSU, Corp. never receives this data or these tokens.
Google Drive access is limited to the drive.file scope, i.e. files created by this app.
Storage and deletion
Takes and projects are stored in the app's Documents folder on your device and can be browsed or deleted in the Files app. Deleting the app deletes all of its data.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes to this policy will be posted on this page.
